I really enjoy going to this dentist office. They are so professional and so kind. They make sure I’m comfortable and not in any pain when getting a filling. I get really nervous when I go to the dentist and don’t really like going of course but they make it bearable. They’re not even in my network, but I’d rather pay a little extra because their service is so great.

I cannot express how great everyone here is! I’ve had to have a good bit of work done in the last few months and Dr.Soloman and his staff have always made sure I was more than comfortable during all of it and explained everything to me step by step and even held my baby for me. Highly recommend!

This is a great dentist. Dr. Douglas and Dr. Smith are very nice and they do quality work. The office is beautifully designed, staff are warm, welcoming and efficient. Hygienist Christi has a gentle touch, & she’s interested and entertaining!
Dr Joe is very personable, accurate and calm, takes time to show X-rays & explain any issues, and actions needed. And, he listens and really understands your concerns.

Really amazing staff. I hadn’t visited a dentist in 5 years and needed a deep cleaning. They were so thorough and yet it was the least painful experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Very professional and really friendly.

Incredible dental experience. I’m dental-phobic but had to visit after an older crown fell off. Also, it was an emergency as I was leaving town in 2 days for a month. Dr. Solomon and assistant Allison Smith put me at ease and were able to get me to a endodontist for a root canal instantly, then worked me back in again within an hour to comfortably (pain free) place a temporary crown. These guys were amazing! Thanks Dr Solomon and Ms. Smith!!

These guys are just the best. I’ve been going here for probably almost 10 years in total now. My appreciation started at my first appointment when I needed to get in fast because of a painful issue. They were able to get me in same-day, and completely resolve the problem and the pain. You can tell they care and really try to help in those situations; especially considering I’d never been a patient at that time. I’ve been here ever since for my cleanings and any other needs, as well as my daughter. My husband was always complaining about issues at his previous dentist, I finally got him to switch to the bright side and he’s had no complaints since.

Had a dental emergency and was able to get in the same day ( I was also a new patient ) to be seen. Ended up getting a tooth pulled the next morning , would have gotten it right after the exam but my phone was on 3% so I came back in the morning. Dr was great staff was comforting. Gretchen helped go over cost of everything and left no questions unasked. Felt like everything was priced reasonably. Will definitely be coming here as a regular patient !!

My special needs sister broke both front teeth in the shower. When I called on a Thursday at 4:50, Brittany did not hesitate to book an emergency visit for the following morning. When we arrived for our 8am appointment, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Dr. Douglas did such an amazing job by making a call to get an anesthesiologist over for a sedation dental procedure on the same day! Exceptionally pleased with this office!

Dr. Joe (Smith) and the team at Smith Dental Care in Tyler are worth the drive we make there from Dallas for our dental care. This week I had an issue with an implant placed by a former dentist. Dr Joe was able to fix the issue without me having to have a costly replacement. I had lunch on the way back to Dallas – No pain, only gratitude for the care professionalism of the whole Smith Dental Team. I’ve had the same experience on each of my visits. For all of these reasons, I highly recommend them.

This is by far the best dental place that I have ever visited! They were extremely accommodating and the fact that I had all of my children with me, which is four of them ages 9 to 4. They were super sweet and patient while I decided what kind of care I wanted! They were extremely efficient and describing the different types of care options for the work that I need it done and they were not at all offensive or rude about any of the dental problems that I already had as a matter of fact, they were very gentle about it! Dr. Joe and his staff are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met including the front desk ladies!

I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences at Smith Dental. The doctors are kind, friendly and are great at explaining the details and options for your dental needs. They make sure that you are confident and comfortable whether you are there for an inplant or cleaning. Smith Dental has the best office in East Texas.
